Add Phone Number & SMS Invites in GloveBoxHQ
Agencies can now invite clients to GloveBox using SMS in addition to email. This enhancement gives agencies more flexibility when adding new clients or verifying existing ones—making onboarding faster and more accessible for policyholders.
The update introduces:
- A phone number field to the new client invite flow.
- The ability to send invites via SMS directly from the Overview or Clients page.
- Options to invite individual users or bulk invite multiple users from the Unverified Client List.

1. Add Phone Number to New Client Flows
- Agencies can now input a client’s phone number when adding them to GloveBox.
- SMS invites can be sent alongside or instead of email invites.
- Invites can be revoked and resent if needed.
- Once the client accepts the SMS invite, their account is successfully verified.

How It Works
- Add a New Client
- Navigate to Overview → Add New Client, or open the Clients page.
- Enter the client’s details, including phone number (optional but recommended).
- Choose whether to send the invite via Email, SMS, or both.
- Unverified Clients
- Open Clients → Unverified Tab.
- Select one or multiple unverified clients.
- Choose Send SMS Invite to trigger verification messages.
- Verification Process
- Clients receive a secure SMS with an invitation link.
- Clicking the link verifies their account and connects them to your agency’s GloveBox.
- The system automatically marks them as verified in HQ.
Technical Notes & Updated Scope
- A missing email or phone can only be added if an invite is sent.
- All contact attributes added through this process must be accompanied by an invite.
- The system now supports:
- Users with only a verified phone.
- Users with only a verified email.
- Users with both contact types, verified or pending verification.
