Enhanced Documents in GloveBoxHQ

What Are Enhanced Documents?

Enhanced Documents (sometimes referred to internally as document sync) are files that originate in your Agency Management System (AMS) and are automatically pulled into GloveBoxHQ and attached to the correct policy. Unlike Auto ID cards, these documents are not generated by GloveBox — they already exist in your AMS.

GloveBox pulls them in based on your AMS configuration and keeps them updated. If a document is removed or no longer marked as client-accessible in the AMS, it will also be removed from GloveBoxHQ.


How Enhanced Documents Work

Each AMS has its own way of telling GloveBox which documents should be synced.

  • Epic

    • Option 1 (Default): We look for the Client Accessible = True tag (enabled in Epic’s admin settings) on documents.

    • Option 2: We target a specific folder designated by your agency (e.g., “GloveBox” or “Misc”). Any PDF documents stored there and associated with a policy will be synced.

  • Requirements:

    • Document must be associated with a policy.

    • File must be a PDF and no larger than 50 MB.

If any of these conditions change (e.g., the “Client Accessible” flag is removed, or the document is deleted), GloveBox will detect the change and remove the file.


Rollout & AMS Availability

  • Epic → Available now (personal lines first; commercial coming soon).

  • HawkSoft → Auto ID card support available, but Enhanced Documents are not yet supported.

  • AMS360 → Coming soon.

  • Other AMSs with APIs → Will be supported in the future.


Troubleshooting Missing Documents

If an expected document does not appear:

  1. Confirm that the document meets the AMS requirements (policy-linked, PDF, <50MB, tagged correctly).

  2. Make sure the client and policy information in GloveBox is correct. If the policy itself isn’t syncing, review this article: Policy Info in GloveBox Not Updating.

  3. If the issue persists after checking AMS setup and policy sync, contact GloveBox Support.
