We are excited to introduce the Custom Campaign feature in Better Agency! This powerful addition allows you to create and manage campaigns tailored to your unique needs, providing enhanced flexibility and streamlined workflows.

What is the Custom Campaign Feature?

The Custom Campaign feature builds upon our existing campaign tools, enabling you to:

  • Automate follow-ups based on specific lead sources and lines of business.
  • Start campaigns from various areas within the app, offering unparalleled convenience.
  • Customize every aspect of your campaign to suit your agency's goals.

How to Start a Campaign Anywhere

You can now trigger campaigns from multiple locations in the app:

  1. Renewal Pipeline

    • Locate a contact, click Add to Campaign, select the desired campaign (e.g., Specialized Renewal Follow-Up), and click Start.
  2. Contact List

    • Select multiple contacts, click Actions, navigate to Campaigns, choose the follow-up, and click Start.
  3. Contact Record

    • Open a contact’s profile, click Campaigns, and select Add to Campaign to initiate a campaign.
  4. During Import

    • Trigger campaigns while importing contacts, ensuring seamless automation during data setup.

Creating a Custom Campaign

To create a custom campaign, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Campaigns and click + Custom Campaign.

  2. Choose to either:

    • Start from Scratch: Build a new campaign tailored to your needs.
    • Copy an Existing Campaign: Duplicate and modify one of your existing campaigns.
  3. Configure the campaign:

    • Assign an Owner (e.g., yourself or the contact owner dynamically).
    • Add steps such as text messages, emails, or tasks:
      • Text Messages: Define timing, recipient (e.g., contact owner), and content.
      • Emails: Create or select templates, set schedules, and include personalized details.
      • Tasks: Assign tasks to ensure follow-up actions are completed efficiently.

Activating Your Campaign

When creating a campaign, it will initially be turned off. This ensures no unintended actions are triggered. Before launching, follow these steps:

  1. Review all steps and content.
  2. Toggle the campaign to On when you are ready to activate it.
