Filing a Claim in GloveBox’s ClientHub or the Mobile Apps
You can use GloveBox's platform to file a claim directly with your carrier or your agency.
To file a claim from inside of GloveBox:
Be sure you are signed in to the mobile app or ClientHub.
From the Overview tab, select the option to Make a Claim.
You can also select the PolicyAssist section, available on the left hand side of ClientHub and as the bell icon inside of the mobile app. Then, choose the option for claims.
Inside of PolicyAssist's claim filing module, you'll have two options:
- File with your agency using GloveBox's built-in form.
- File with your carrier.
The option you select may vary on your specific carrier, your agency's preferences, or the time of day. For instance, if you need to file a claim after hours, it may be preferred to file with the carrier directly to expedite the process.
Filing with Your Agency
First, confirm your requestor information, which is the contact information you'd like to use for the claim.
Then, select your policy division and the policy you need to file a claim for. If your claim isn't listed, you'll have the option to add it.
Then, share the details regarding your claim.
Finally, confirm all of your details, and submit when ready.
After you submit, a copy of the responses you've provided will be sent to you in an email. Additionally, the staff members at your agency who will handle your claim will be copied on the email. From there, the staff members will be able to liaise with you directly to process and handle your claim.
Filing with Your Carrier
To file with your carrier, you'll see the option to Submit Claim with Carrier from inside of the claims module.
When you select this option, you'll be asked for your policy division once more.
After selecting a division, you'll see some contact information for your agency, as well as the option to submit a request digitally. Choose Digital Claims Request.
Then, select your policy and carrier that you need to file a claim for.
The system will then let you know that you're being taken to your carrier's portal.
On this screen, you can copy your policy number by selecting the two squares. When you select Start my claim now, this will open your carrier's portal.
The interface you'll be taken to will depend on your carrier. Some larger entities, like Nationwide, may have a quick filing system. Other carriers will prompt you to sign in. Follow the steps provided by the carrier to submit your claim.
Please note that if you do not see your policy listed, or are unable to file with your carrier for any reason, your best course of action will be to submit a claim using PolicyAssist where you can add the policy manually.
