What is the onboarding process with the Applied EPIC SDK?

First, sign up for the Integration with your GloveBox point of contact.
  • This step adds you to the GloveBox SDK waitlist

Second, obtain your SOAP SDK credentials by following the steps below.

  • Request you SDK SOAP API credentials by asking your Applied CSR asking to connect you with an Applied EPIC Implementation Specialist.

  • Send a message to your Implementation Specialist requesting your DK SOAP API credentials. Here is a template you can send to your Applied Implementation Specialist:

Subject: Request for Applied EPIC SDK Credentials

Hi

I hope you're doing well! I’m reaching out because we urgently need our SOAP SDK credentials to complete our GloveBox integration with Applied EPIC.

These credentials (URL, authorization key, and database name) allow GloveBox to import key information from the EPIC system, which streamlines our ability to service clients and provide them with their policy documents.

  • The credentials are comprised of a URL, authorization key, and database name. Examples are provided below.
    • Example URL: https://xxxxxxx.appliedonline.net/epicsdk/EpicSDK.svc
    • Example authorization key: long string of alpha-numerics
    • Example database name: ACAAAA05_PROD

Obtaining these credentials is the first step in the implementation process, and we'd like to get this integration set up as quickly as possible.

Can you assist in obtaining these credentials or point me to the right person to help with securing them?

Thanks in advance.

Last, complete your GloveBox onboarding.

  • When you’re next up on the waitlist, our team will let you know we are ready to connect your data. In order to move forward, you must provide GloveBox with your SOAP SDK credentials.

  • Failure to provide GloveBox with these credentials at the time of implementation will require our team to move on to the next customer on the waitlist.

What else should I know about the Applied EPIC SDK?

  • The API that is used by GloveBox to offer this integration is not widely accessible or known. This means that it can take time to obtain your credentials, and you may need to follow up with their team more than once.
