# How to Update The Email Address of a User in GloveBoxHQ
Sometimes a team member’s email address changes and needs to be updated in GloveBoxHQ. Since login is tied to email and PIN access, there isn’t a way to simply edit the existing email. Instead, the process is to remove the old account and re-invite the user with their new email address.

GloveBoxHQ uses email + PIN code access for login security. Because of this, an email address functions as the **unique identifier** for a user. For security and data integrity, it cannot be changed directly.

1. Navigate to **Users** in GloveBoxHQ.
2. Locate the team member whose email needs to be updated.
3. **Remove the user** from your account.
4. Click **Invite User** and enter the new email address.
5. The team member will receive an invitation at their updated email and can log in with their new credentials.
