Paying Your Bill in GloveBox
Once signed in to your account, click on the option to Pay a Bill. Then, hit Next to confirm you'd like to proceed.
Next, choose your Policy Division. From there, select the carrier tied to the policy you want to pay your bill for.
From here, your process depends on the billing type:
-
Direct Bill: Pay directly with your carrier (common for personal lines like home, auto, and renter’s).
-
Agency Bill: Pay directly with your agency (common for commercial policies like worker’s comp and builder’s risk).
Paying a Direct Bill Policy:
For Direct Bill policies, you’ll see the carrier’s name (e.g., Nationwide, Progressive). Select the carrier and choose the policy to pay.
If you don’t see the policy needed for payment, submit a request through GloveBox’s PolicyAssist to have your agency add it.
After selecting your policy, the system will let you know that it's routing you forward to your carrier in order to make your payment. You can copy your policy number by hitting the two squares, then select the option to Pay My Bill Now.
Next, you'll be taken to your carrier's bill pay portal. Depending on the carrier, you might see a prompt to sign in, or a direct screen to pay your bill.
Follow the steps outlined with your carrier, and you're all set from there.
Paying an Agency Bill Policy:
If you have an agency bill policy, you'll see your agency's name listed as the carrier on that policy.
After you choose your agency as the carrier, select the policy to pay. Once you've selected a policy, the system will let you know that it's routing you forward to your agency's bill pay system in order to make your payment.
You can copy your policy number by hitting the two squares, then select the option to Pay My Bill Now.
Once you're redirected, follow the steps provided in the system your agency uses to make your payment.
If you have an agency bill policy, and you don't see the option to make a payment on that policy, contact your agency directly.
This means your agency doesn't work with a 3rd party system for these payments, so you'll pay the bill directly with the agency's service team.
