Understanding the Renewal Pipeline in GloveBoxCRM

The Renewal Pipeline in GloveBoxCRM is designed to guide policies from their current term to the next, ensuring data is updated, renewals are tracked, and campaigns are triggered along the way.

This article explains how policies flow into the pipeline, how you can customize timing, and how to manage renewals efficiently.

How Policies Enter the Renewal Pipeline

  • All policies with a defined term length will enter the Renewal Pipeline.

  • Policies appear a set number of days before their expiration date.

    • By default, personal policies drop in 60 days before renewal.

    • You can adjust this timing in Edit Agency > Customizations (e.g., 45 or 90 days).

  • ⚠️ Note: Policies without a defined term length will not appear in the pipeline.

Moving Policies Through Stages

  • Policies start in the first stage and move through stages manually.

  • You can drag and drop policies through the stages.

  • If no action is taken, GloveBoxCRM will automatically mark policies as Completed, creating the new policy term.

Campaigns and Automations

Each pipeline stage can trigger campaigns:

  • Above/Below % Campaigns – Trigger based on premium change percentage (customizable in settings).

  • Working Renewal Campaign – Designed for manual handling; triggers tasks but no client-facing automation.

  • Renewal Ready / Completion Campaigns – Prebuilt campaigns with emails, SMS, and tasks.

👉 You can edit or customize these campaigns under Campaigns > Renewals, or build your own from scratch.

Completing a Renewal

When you complete a renewal:

  1. Confirm and update policy data (e.g., new premium, commission splits).

  2. Save changes to automatically generate the new policy term.

  3. Start a completion campaign if desired.

If GloveBoxCRM auto-completes a renewal for you:

  • The system assumes the policy renewed.

  • You can still go back, update details, and save—removing the “auto-completed” label.

Filtering and Reviewing Renewals

The Renewal Pipeline includes filters to help you manage data quickly:

  • View completed renewals from the last 30 days.

  • Show only future effective renewals.

  • Filter to see only auto-completed policies.

These filters make it easy to keep data accurate and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

Key Takeaway

The Renewal Pipeline in GloveBoxCRM ensures policies transition smoothly from one term to the next. By customizing renewal timing, leveraging campaigns, and managing completions, agencies can keep policy data clean, streamline workflows, and deliver proactive client communication.
